X-ray Side View
CASSEL XRAY SHARK® X-ray machines are designed to detect metal, glass, and other foreign contaminants in glass or plastic containers with high accuracy. These machines utilize side view X-ray beams, which enable them to detect even the smallest glass fragments that would not be visible to the naked eye or vision systems.
In addition to glass, these machines can also detect other foreign objects such as metal, stones, ceramics, or high-density plastics that may be present in the product. This makes them ideal for use in the food, pharmaceutical, or cosmetics industries where contamination can pose a serious threat to public health.
Even if the packaging is made of glass or the product is additionally packed in a cardboard box, the sideview X-rays of these machines can detect the glass splinters in the product. XS GIG X-ray Systems
The XS26-H2-GIG provides the most sensitive detection capability, with a scanning height of up to 265mm and the ability to detect high-density materials such as metal, ceramic, stone, and plastic.
Single-beam X-ray systems can safely detect glass in plastic, while dual-beam X-ray systems are tailored for the intricate detection of glass particles in glass or plastic containers. Dual-beam technology can detect contaminants hidden anywhere in a glass container, including the bottom, where there is often a concave punt in the container.
